Ways to Bank
1.1: M-pesa Deposit
To deposit money from M-Pesa to a Commercial International Bank (CIB) Kenya Account:
- Go to M-PESA menu, select “Lipa na M-Pesa”.
- Select “Paybill”
- Select “Enter business no.” 961610 and press “OK”.
- Select “Enter account no” i.e. CIB Kenya 10-digit account number (e.g. 0101010101) and press “OK”.
- Enter the amount i.e. amount you want to deposit and press “OK.”
- Enter your M-Pesa PIN and press “OK”.
- Confirm all the details are correct and press OK.
- You will receive a confirmation SMS from MPESA immediately.
- CIB Kenya will then send you a confirmation SMS and email once the funds are received by the Bank and credited to the recipient account.
1.2: Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS)
RTGS is a transfer method that allows you to receive funds into your CIB Kenya account from other local banks in real-time and on condition the funds are sent before the set cut-off times.
To send funds to a CIB Kenya Account through RTGS, use the below bank details:

1.3: Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT)
EFT is a transfer method that allows you to receive funds into your CIB Kenya account from other local banks within a maximum period of 24 working hours.
To send funds to a CIB Kenya Account through EFT, use the below bank details:

1.4: International Transfer (IT)
To receive money into your CIB Kenya Limited account, download the form to get the correspondent bank details.
1.5: Pesalink
You can also send money to your CIB Kenya Account Number or phone number linked to Pesalink from any Bank that is on the Pesalink network. This transfer method is available 24/7/365 and the funds are instantly credited to the account.
